A $15 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit per week is due upon registration for each child to hold their place for that week of camp. Balances for each week are due the Thursday  prior to that week.

To have your Financial Assistance application reviewed and processed prior to summer camp beginning, please submit the application by May 1st

Activities vary by branch and may include swimming, cooking classes, STEM, pickleball, drama, sports, tennis, board games and more! 

Please bring spray-on sunscreen, towel, refillable water bottle, and snacks every day of camp.

We offer swimming lessons during YMCA Summer Camp for anyone who wants their child to learn to swim. Campers are provided lessons during the day while attending camp. To register for summer camp lessons, participants must be enrolled in YMCA summer camp and must take lessons where they are enrolled.

The Counselor-in-Training Program teaches teens the job skills necessary to be a counselor and provides them with ongoing support and mentorship that can further enhance their growth and development in these roles.  The camp environment provides a unique opportunity for youth to build leadership skills, particularly in assisting counselors with younger campers.  Counselors-in Training (CITs) are provided with first-hand experience working with campers and the opportunity to cultivate skills and knowledge in the day camp setting.  CITs are selected through an application and interview process.

This program is offered at the Paula G. Manship YMCA for children ages 13 - 15. Camp begins June 1. Please contact Cordia Miller for more information or to register cmiller@ymcabr.org
