SCHOLARSHIPS
Through the generous support of YMCA donors and volunteers, the Y provides need-based scholarships to help individuals and families who need YMCA programs and services but are unable to afford them.
THE Y IS FOR ALL
The Y is a charitable organization here to serve people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes. The Y is community-based and believes that its programs and services should be available to everyone.
That’s why we offer a Financial Assistance Program, which is a sliding fee scale designed to fit each individual’s financial situation. Please complete the financial assistance application and submit it to the YMCA location where you wish to participate. All scholarships are confidential. Scholarships are awarded based on need and availability of funds.
Scholarships are made possible thanks to the generosity of donors, staff and community partners through the Annual Community Support Campaign.
To ensure that we meet the needs of as many community members as possible, we are asking that those in need of assistance please apply early to ensure funds are available. Financial Assistance Applications will be accepted January 1st - May 1st for summer programs. Due to availability of funds, applications received after May 1st will be considered on a rolling basis.
