TENNIS

The YMCA offers tennis programs at the Paula G. Manship YMCA, Lamar Tennis Center and the Americana YMCA. The Paula G. Manship YMCA features 20 world class tennis courts - 10 hard surface and 10 clay surface and was awarded the USTA Facility Excellence Award. The Americana YMCA features 6 hard surface tennis courts. 

TENNIS PROGRAMS

The YMCA offers a variety of tennis programs from tennis camp, to private lessons to competitive tournaments. Tennis lessons and programs are available for all ages and all skill levels.

  • Champs Tennis (HS & Middle School Development)

    Junior classes for intermediate middle school and high school players (1st level tournament players). 


    1 day/week or 2 days/week


    Ages: 8 - 18 (may vary by season)

  • Future Tennis Stars (Beginners)

    Junior classes for beginners who will learn basic strokes and rally skills.

  • High Performance (Advanced)

    Training for advanced juniors who play tournaments.

  • Tennis 101

    Is a beginner class for tennis that will teach the basics and fundamentals of tennis and get you ready to play matches.

  • Tennis Improvers Clinic

    Intermediate class for levels 3.0 and 3.5 who want to take their game to the next level.
